Events

IA holds a number of events both locally and nationally, these can be found using the links on the left. York IA holds two meetings a year, one in October and our AGM in April. As well as this we arrange social evenings where our members can meet in a relaxed atmosphere.

Nationally IA holds a number of different types of event each year. National Council takes place every year around Easter and is the Association's AGM and an opportunity for the representatives of the different member organizations to meet up and share ideas etc. The Internal Pouch Group and Young IA, special interest groups within IA hold events up and down the country throughout the year. York IA usually have a presence at most of the Stoma Open Days in our region. Details of upcoming Open Days can be found by clicking the appropriate link on the left. If you are organizing an Open Day and wish it to be advertised on our pages, please contact the Webmaster

Our local hospitals also organize support group meetings about every six weeks, these are always well attended and well supported by York IA.
