INTERNAL POUCH INFORMATION DAY

Saturday 6th March, 2010

If you have an Internal Pouch, or are thinking about having one, this is a chance to meet others with similar experiences and get the answers to all those questions!

A day of interactive workshops and presentations on all aspects of living with an internal pouch. Hear the latest information and developments in pouch surgery from specialist nurses and surgeons and take the opportunity to meet up with others who have taken this journey

Proceedings will start at 9.30am and run until 5.00pm, a booking fee of £5.00 applies. Lunch and refreshments through the day will be provided.

We are also organizing two social events, one the evening before and one on the evening of the event and if you would like to attend either of these or simply require further information please contact the Internal Pouch Co-ordinator (internal.pouch@iasupport.org).

Young IA Weekend

Sadly this years event has been cancelled due to lack of numbers. The Young IA subcommittee are currently looking at some of the options available to them with regard to some smaller events. There has been some discussion about this on the IA forums and there is a possibility of a event in York, so watch this space.

IA National Council

National Council is IA's AGM and will be held at the Thistle Hotel in Glasgow on the 4th and 5th of April 2009. Besides the usual business of the AGM there are also a number of lectures, interactive workshops and it is also a major social event. It is a great opportunity for the various Member Organizations to meet up and share ideas.
