Pouchies Go Wild In York
In October 2007, IA's Internal Pouch Subcommittee held their meeting in York and arranged a get together for anybody with an interest in internal pouches at the Bitlmore Grill in York. As this was the first time anything like this, aimed specifically at pouchies had been arranged outside of National Council nobody was quite sure how things would pan out an the Pouch Subcommittee worried about how things would turn out. As it was there was no need for any worries, besides the subcommittee members and a contingent from the York area members arrived from all parts of the country including some from the Republic of Ireland.
People started gathering at around 6.00pm and for some, who had been communicating via IA's forums for some time, it was a welcome opportunity to meet in the flesh.
